Re: Got a new Heritage H-150 P90 Standard/ A question about the bridge

One of the things that attracted me to this guitar is that it reminded me of the mid 70's Les Paul Deluxe with the solid red top. I always dug those, and I think there was a blue one as well. Of possible interest: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NGCH0sZiB0 Yep, that's the one! It was Trogley that ...

Re: Firefly copies Epiphone who copied Gibson. Adam Jones art Firefly

Is the back side art for guys who like rubbing their junk up against nearly naked muscular men? Definitely not my thing, but I really don't like the silver vomit front finish either, so I guess I am not the target market! :D Yeah....no kidding! LOL Click the link below. This is what they are knocki...

Firefly copies Epiphone who copied Gibson. Adam Jones art Firefly

Pretty cool, if your into the Adam Jones craze, I guess. Quite a price difference compared to the original.
I wonder if they will get a cease and desist?

Re: Got a new Heritage H-150 P90 Standard/ A question about the bridge

SWEET! Reminds me of my long lost '73 LP Deluxe in Transparent Red. I miss that guitar big time! I would love to have one of those transparent red Deluxes. I really like those. I think Gibson redid a Deluxe with that wine red finish in the late 2010's as a Les Paul Classic with mini's. One of the t...

Re: Got a new Heritage H-150 P90 Standard/ A question about the bridge

My only complaint about the Heritage is a minor aesthetic one. IMHO, the headstock is about 3/4" too long. It reminds me of Frankenstein's forehead...:) Yeah, the headstock is a little weird. I have a couple of old Aria Pro's from the 70's that have very similar headstocks, so I am kinda used ...

Got a new Heritage H-150 P90 Standard/ A question about the bridge

I have always wanted to try out a Heritage. Well, I finally pulled the trigger and got a H-150 P90 Standard. It arrived the other day, and is a beauty. Beautiful finish and the P90's sound huge! It's got a rich red top, and a light brown natural back and sides. I can not find any flaws in the finish...

Agile AL-3100MCC is being discontinued. The end of an era

I just got an email from Rondo stating that the Agile AL-3100MCC is being discontinued. Thoughts?

They said that the AL-3200MCC will stay in production through 2024 though

Re: Epiphone Sheraton w/ Mini Hums

I've never played a guitar with mini-humbuckers. How do they compare to full-size? Get the benefit of humbucker fullness but still seem to retain more "single coil" like highs and sharpness. When he hits the amp only (no pedals) starting @ 12:06 you can get a real sense of the minis...the...

Re: Epiphone Sheraton w/ Mini Hums

I just bought one from Sweetwater! I have had it for a couple of weeks. Love it. The build quality, and fretwork is very good, and I love the neck. The Probucker mini humbuckers sound great IMO. They have the humbucker sound, but with more bite and articulation. I will do a full review here soon Oh....

Be careful with that stuff! I had COVID twice - the 1st time in March of 2020 before any vaccines, and the 2nd time after getting vaxed a couple doses. I still have long-COVID symptoms. I can't even smell food anymore, and can't run nearly as far as I used to (fatigue), but I'm better off than many...

Yeaah it is. I usually just block off any trems, but if your into that sort of thing, then I imagine it would be really cool having it on a guitar like this.

I believe they started putting the Giovanni GVH 1 in the Agiles about two years ago. The AL-3200 I got from Rondo about 6 months ago had them installed. They sound very very good FWIW, the current product descriptions of the AL/AD-3200MCCs in stock make no mention of them, only referring to "t...

I have not been able to find the answer online. Are the volume and tone pots Audio Taper or Linear Taper? I am particularly interested in knowing about the push-pull tone pots. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Re: New Agile AD-3200 now comes with Giovanni pickups. Or do they really?

If anyone picked up a recent 3100 or 3200mcc and felt like verifying, it would be interesting. Or, if someone doesn't like the GVH-1 pickups they received and swapped them out, I'd be willing to take them off your hands and test them out! Yes, I got an AL-3200 mcc from the last batch and they do in...

Re: Agile: Blackie Lawless?

Looks close, but I don't think it is an Agile. It has square inlays. An Agile would have the trapezoid inlays. I saw this headstock on some other brand recently. Whatever is was and Agile are both probably made in the same factory.
