Bacchus Baron guitar - Wow!

Just found out about this brand, and came accross their Tele-Paul style guitar.

Wow, what a beauty! Love it. Price is definitely on the high side, but man, I love it. Would prefer a wider nut, but other than that, a beauty.

Actually Bacchus is a very well respected brand here. They have their made in China stuff and then a whole line of MIJ guitars too. Not sure where this one is made

@sabasgr68 No but by my wife is from there so we obviously go there somewhat frequently. I did live there for slightly less than a year. I've got over a year or time there at this point.

Same here. I thought I was the only human that didn't like zebra pups. And yes, that DC looks nice, although, again, black is not my first color choice - it's not a choice, actually -.

I believe that DC is discontinued. That video is from 2017, iirc.

Yes, his daughter Madeline. Last thing he shared about her is that she was doing better, but it's been a while. He stopped making videos and hanging around here, so we don't really know. I still have her in my prayers. Thanks for remembering her, Rob

If you're looking for MIJ guitars or guitars sold in Japan (Bacchus aren't all MIJ but often sold there) Ishibashi seems to be the best place. Reverb and ebay has a ton of sellers who seem to basically just buy from Ishibashi and charge you double.

I wish I was, but I'm not; I do like to do some window-shopping though, so this will be another place to visit

I suppose some seller do that. I did find an interesting case, though.

I found a nice Cort M600 guitar - one of my crush guitars - at Ishibashi's, for the equivalent of $262, plus shipping to the US $185, you have a total of $447.

I did a search on Reverb, and found the same Cort M600 - serial was the same - for $461 plus $90 for shipping, total $551. The seller is Ishibashi Japan. Interesting...

Music Go Round has one - not the same in this case - for $550. Similar to Reverb price.

Anyway, thanks for giving me another place to visit. I enjoy it

I have a Bacchus Live Road? (I think)
It's an LP style made with mango wood and P90's.

If you'll remember - I got it as a 50'th birthday present and it arrived with pee stains on it. It took a DEEP cleaning and a nice sized refund but I kept it.
