I have a client who ordered a set of my PAF replicas, the AMI 'Mr. Butterfingers'. He wanted his Ibanez AS53 to sound exactly like my Ibanez AM70. It has been a very long time since I had the pots of mine out, but believe I changed out the volume pots from linear-taper, to audio-taper. That would have been long before I kept records of such changes.
Anyone know what new Ibanez semi-hollow's come with - linear or audio taper volumes?
Does anyone know what volume taper for Ibanez?

ANSWERED: The Ibanez AS53 comes stock with linear-taper for 'volume', as most Ibanez do.
I slipped in a D500K Bournes (audio, low friction) with a 180K + 220pF series treble bleed. This guitar sounded fantastic with a set of PAFs. Nigh and day compared to the ceramics.
