Got me three Tele necks and two bodies and enough parts to put together almost three Teles. Here's a pic of two combinations, but I will change them quite a bit. Maybe use a maple neck on the light blue, maybe have to repaint it as well. Got some different hardware as well. Thinking a stacked bridge bucker for the one on the left, and I'll slightly reshape necks, re-radius and put in SS frets. The one with the bigsby copy has some no name Tele pups I actually really like for sound. The other has Tesla pups and they're somehow a little too tame and 'even' sounding for my taste.

It'll be a challenge to sell 'em for good money but I'll give it a try. Set up real nice, get some great photos taken in good light, and I think I may even make a tiny profit. We will see, Teles are cheap after all usually.

I maybe won't mind if I have to keep the blue one. It does sound great for some stuff and the Bigsby copy works quite well.Image

There's something very pleasing when stuff starts to come together. Pretty happy with how these Hosco stainless frets go in; I have a nice 2 ton press to put them in so there is usually not that much leveling required after, typically however the 13th-14th fret and possibly some of the very last ones tend to need some filing after everything's done.

Those are two good looking guitars. Every time I see someone post Tele pics, I feel like I need to get one.

I'm refinishing the light blue one in mostly transparent white, and it will have a maple neck as well.

The electric blue is turning out real nice. Awaiting new pickups and a guard for it as well as other assorted parts.
