Yes, me and my Cajon player gigged last evening and it was awesome! It was a four hour gig too, most are three.

Ours was a two hour gig. We played for 2.5. Thought I would get home early, stayed around until midnight... :)

Back in the day all our gigs were 4 hours. Typically they were 8 to midnight or 9 to 1AM. We still so a few 8 to midnight but it seems a lot of venues start earlier and end earlier these days. It makes sense, most of the trouble I have seen over the years starts after midnight. Get them in and get them out before the trouble starts. The acoustic shows also have better hours, most start and 7 and end at 10.
