I am not a religious person but I know this day means a lot to those that are. I wish everyone a Happy Easter and enjoy the family time. As a youngster I recall spending Saturday evening in the kitchen with my dad dying eggs with the Paas kit. When I think back on how poor we were there had to be sacrifices made in order to use those eggs and purchase that dye kit. Still my parents did it for me and my little sister. Good times and fond memories.

Every time I look at the pictures from back then I am reminded of the Brownie camera and how they always made us face the sun. I am squinting in all the pics, LOL.

Brownies were before the Polaroids. Then you had those with the 4 way flash cubes. We walked to church every Sunday no matter the weather, maybe that's why i haven't gone since i was 18. Found my younger sisters camera here, how it got in my house i don't know, will mail it to her someday. Anyway, Happy Easter to all.

I had a great Easter. Besides the significance of the day I was happy that the temp cracked 50 degrees for the first time since November.

I had family come by and bring food and spend some time with me and that was great but I must say being out of the hospital was the best I hope all had a great Easter as well.

Yes, hope you all had a happy Easter. We got together at my moms and even got a little playing in with my brother.
This weekend will be a continuation party at my kids place with a 6 person birthday party. My dad's 80th and also 80th for my dads good friend from the corvette club who was a bit like an uncle to me growing up. My mom's 76th my 2 brothers that are twins and my best friends who saw my dad as his other dad.
It was a friggin nightmare getting that organized on to 1 day. In the end I had to cut out my son who had had other reservations and is the one person who can actually keep a party going.
