The older I get, the less gear I want to load in/out. However lately I have been considering adding a small led light bar.

How many of you use stage lighting when playing out? If you do, what are you using?

I’m considering something like a gigbar move or similar.

Gearlist: Fav: Gibson LP and Gibson Goldtone Amp. Other gear: Gretsch, Peavey, Taylor and more.

I have three LED units that can sit on the floor and use them to cast a blue hue across the stage when playing with the band. One of the other guys has some light trees but he usually just puts them on the floor as well. I rarely use any lights for an acoustic solo gig. There are couple places where it is dark so I may use one.

Gearlist: A tele, a bass and a bunch of other stuff.

We have a 12" x 8" light which throws disco-like patterns and a bright "wash" that changes colors. We put it behind the drummer and cast it onto the wall behind him.

That said, you can get some pretty cool lights in small packages these days.
