Our Biggest Gig Yet

We had the absolute honor of playing at Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana on April 18th. It was surreal for sure! I couldn’t help but wonder how many musical legends that inspired me had graced that same stage! We opened for an amazing regional band called Mr. Funnyman. They also have a Pink Floyd tribute band called Echo's of Pompeii which is also killer!
Most importantly, we were there for a great cause – raising funds for Project Fire Buddies. It's an organization developed by fire fighters that provides gifts and organizes special events to uplift families with terminally ill children during tough times.
It was an amazing night that we won't soon forget.

Thanks Tommy! Honestly, I was nervous leading up to the gig but was more excited than nervous once we loaded in and sound checked. Same process just on a way bigger platform that we are used to.

Congrats!! That is awesome!!
For the record I am a mess before most gigs, a nervous wreck. I get in a shell sometimes and will not talk to anyone. It drives the wife crazy. Then when the show starts the nerves usually melt away. It's better at places I am familiar with but new places always get to me. It was a whole new type of nerves gigging solo, that is the hardest. I started gigging 30 years ago. I had to force myself into it. I had stage fright so bad I would hide my guitar when people were coming over so they would not see it and insist I play.

Thank you! I get a bit apprehensive before gigs hoping that all goes right. I've been performing live music in some capacity since I was a pre-teen so the nervousness, if any goes away pretty quickly. If I am called out at any type of gathering to play impromptu (especially solo), that is when the nerves hit me.
