First Tune with the Ibanez JBMFX10 - May be going back.

So I'm not feeling it. I'm going to let it sit for a few days because I usually have the same reaction to anything new. Getting picky in my old age.
So the pickups sound surprisingly dark. Almost cheaply dark. Its hard to explain, but I was surprised given Periphery's sound and their preference in bright sounding pickups.

The guitar plays well, nothing bad to say about that. I did pop the 2nd string which is a .14 and I have none hanging around so I will have to get a set tomorrow to continue getting acquainted.

So please take a listen and let me know what you guys think, I'm very on the fence with it.

Thanks ahead of time!

It's really hard to tell whether the pickups sound dark, given nothing to compare them to with the same distortion/effects applied. Some clean clips might allow some more clarity in comparison

Really fine tune as usual. Hard part is you can make anything sound really good - so how are we to know? If the song is any indication it didn't hold you back one iota.

Yeah I was going to record a few more but I popped a string. The solo was recorded on my JP100D.

So I'll definitely be doing that after getting a new pack.

Ok so after careful headphone listening, it sounds very similar to my km7. Which makes sense because the titans are often compared to nazguls.
