Played around with the Valeton unit for a couple of hours tonight. Very nice, easy to work with. Only glitch I found was a weird thing where the looper seemed to not shut off but a power cycle cured that..maybe I just hadn't shut it down properly.
Other than that..absolutely living it. Highly recommended as an inexpensive multi function unit. All metal solid as a rock. $150 bucks well worth it.

Liking it better than the Zoom G1 Four?

Much easier to use right away. The Zoom had a very confusing setup and operatingt mode. This is quite simple to work with at the screen and even though I have not installed it yet, the PC based app looks outstanding also, I will test that maybe today and post some screen shots

Installed the WIndows Software...very nice....easy to work with....order of magnitude better than the Zoom interface which seemed an afterthought rather than designed with the hardware.

Only a few complaints so far:
1) volume of various patches varies widely. Switching patches can blow your mind . easy enough to fix because each patch has a volume setting in addition to a master volume setting which applies to all.
2) Drum patterns are not the greatest..but a minor complaint
Other than that...liking it very much. This week I'll try to record via USB and see how that goes.

One Month Update:
What I like:
Interface, PC Software, everything very easy to access and configure. Amp Models generally very Good, Distortion/Overdrive effects excellent. Looper very functional for practicing/noodling. Frequent updates and patches show that Valeton is on their game
What I don't like:
Modulation Effects good but not as good as what I had with the 2 Zoom pedals I previously owned (G1 Four and G3)
Drum effects not very convincing (maybe if used monitor vs amp better ?)
No Rotary Speaker effect....
Other than that....decent deal for the price. Will likelly check out the NUX MG-300 next for comparison sake
