A few months ago i came across this guitar on guitar center's used site. For a few days i went back and forth on whether to buy it or not. Part of why i didn't was that i couldn't find any info on it. When i typed in the name on the headstock it kept bringing me to the profile of the current BC Rich CEO Bill Xavier. I sent Bill a request on LinkedIn to see if this was something he had at some point. While i was waiting on that i posted it on our old forum.
My recollection is that one of the forum members sent an email to BC Rich and Bill Xavier called him and explained the guitar was made for him at some point years ago and then somehow went missing (stolen, lost, i don't recall the details). I thought the case was solved and it seemed that Bill was getting his guitar back.
Fast forward a few months and the same guitar comes up for sale again on guitar center's used section. I wasn't sure if it's the SAME guitar, another copy/model, or just a glitch on the GC site (i've seen many guitars that sold get re-posted somehow). Figured i'd buy it just to see if it was indeed a glitch.
Imagine my surprise when i got tracking information... Guitar came in today. A cool little guitar - REALLY fast neck and great pickup combo along with the floyd. I sent Bill another message via LinkedIn along with the picture (also emailed BC Rich). If it is indeed his guitar would be cool to get it back to him.
