Like I learned by watching "Antiques Roadshow":
"provenance is everything."

The pickup switching configuration and wiring harness is the vintagiest of them all.

If you want me to think your guitar is worth $175,000 don’t tell me you originally only paid $14. Figuring in inflation less the cost for a new set of strings, I would peg the value somewhere around $45. Tax and PayPal fees included!

Pretty good ROI, I'd say.
