You already know it's me when you read the title  so here we go again! In my infinite quest to nab all the killer partscasters at GC dirt cheap, the latest entry is this really sweet strat that just arrived today.

Features include a beautiful birdseye maple neck, ebony fretboard with stainless frets, Gotoh tuners, and for some reason Duncan Design pickups (guessing the previous owner likely took out whatever higher end pups were probably in this before trading it in). Finish looks like Fender's Blizzard Pearl, and may actually be.

Everything is really great quality, with the exception of the pickups that are of course just "OK" (and the random Squier neckplate, but I'll let that slide!) . I bought this strat to house the set of Bareknuckle Cobras I've been trying to find a home for since 2018, so I'll get those in there in the next week or two. No clue what the make of the body and neck is (whether it's Warmoth or something else), but very impressive with impeccable fit and finish and flawless fretwork.

Grand total was $250 including a hardshell case, which of course Guitar Center forgot when they shipped the guitar , so that'll be arriving later this week.

Edit: now with updated less crappy pics!

Can I be happy for you and irritated too?
I mean I admire your savvy with the GC and your not taking anything away from me, but how do you do it?
Serious though, nice grab.

Haha, thanks! The good news is anyone can do what I do, there isn’t so much savvy to it as just frequent browsing. I take maybe 15-20 mins every other day and just go through GC’s used guitars filtered from low to high price and see what’s new. I also do certain searches for stuff I’m after (keywords like “custom”, “miscellaneous” - which is a term GC often uses for partscasters, etc).

Haha yeah, sometimes I need to pump the brakes so the misses isn't living inside of a Guitar Center. Luckily she's very supportive of my GAS, provided the guitar is "beautiful"

Yeah that's what it's all about, if they're smart purchases and you don't lose any money...why not :).

Weird...they all show in the post perfectly and open up just fine too, both on my phone and in Chrome on my computer. You shouldn’t even have to open anything as the photos are visible here in the thread. Must be something on your end?

Case just came in today too (nice of them to overnight it since it was forgotten!) and it's a sweet Fender hardshell in almost new shape. Makes a nice fit!

I dunno... I see them in the posts now. Before, all that appeared were links that said: "image" running down the page. I thought it was a weird way to post pics, but I figured you had your reasons. :) When I clicked on the links, it took me to your image hosting site, and it displayed an empty frame where the photo was supposed to be, and there was a broken image icon in the upper left corner.

But I see them now... Looks real nice! That's a Ritchie Blackmore Strat right there... You should disable/remove the middle pickup and scallop the fretboard! :D

Strange but glad they're workin' now! And yep, definitely a Blackmore vibe...much like the previous custom strat steal I grabbed with the solid rosewood neck. They could almost be twins
