It's insane how undervalued G&Ls are. I don't play Floyd's, but once you get that set up properly it should compete with a good MIA Fender.

Ahh I recall this one from a few months ago (think it might've even been last year), started off at $1100 and eventually price dropped it's way to the current $499 which is its actual market value.
G&L makes great stuff, and as golem said their guitars are underrated and undervalued, so they're often way cheaper than the quality would imply. I think the red marble finish is probably part of the reason why it hasn't sold, but for $500ish this is a very solid guitar if you like the look and features.

Indeedslowhand84. It's hard to properly qualify just how good of a guitar they are in that price range. I'd say they're easily as good as most used MIA Fenders that go for twice the price. The only question is whether you'll like their neck profiles. I prefer the ones they made before the move to CNC. I'm keeping the mid 90's Legacy HSS unless/until I move abroad next.

Odd,
I would think the red marble would be a draw for people looking for a superstrat but i guess different strokes.. Looks like it's gone. Hopefully someone here snagged it.

I think this may be what some people call a bowling ball finish. Some of them have been known to de-laminate.
Special Features: G&L offered three colors of “swirl” finishes in the 1990s. The finish process requires a few layers of paint to achieve the swirl effect, and occasionally the layers may delaminate.
Though failures were infrequent, concern about the stability of this finish caused them to be discontinued. Though requests from dealers continued, G&L refused to take more orders.
But with 180-day return policy it seems just to make more sense to buy it and return it if it has issues. These finishes are rare because of the issues they had.

Curious if anyone here got it.
