The PRS "Chimera"

I saw this picture this morning, and I threw up a little coffee in my mouth... Does this look like a tiger to anybody, or does it look like a genetic abomination from the island of Dr. Moreau?

Like a cross between a Bengal Tiger and a Koala Bear! Our Ozzy friends call it a "Tigwalla"... Thought to be a modern myth, like the Chupacabra... I wonder if it can speak?
Why, Paul?? Why??

No foolin'. I'm just hoping the "tiger" was carved out of a different piece of wood and glued onto the top, and not all carved out of one big hunk of AAAA flame maple.

And, that tiger claw looks weird; 4 phalanges in front, one in the back. This tiger has them all in the front, and the middle one is larger!

Yeah, I meant to mention something about the "paw" too. It looks like a frickin'
hydra! It's like the artist had seen a tiger once when he was a kid, and tried to recreate it from memory. What I don't understand is why not a
single person at PRS looked at that and said... "Uh... That thing looks like a freak of nature... Next!", long before tools ever touched wood? The "sculptor" must have had to submit their design to PRS before they commissioned him/her to do the job.

Jeeesh . . . if somebody likes tigers
that much, can't they just be like a normal person and get a real one?

Thanks! haha I knew the appropriate word was not
claw, but failed to remember it, even though it is mentioned here quite often (south paws)
If that guitar is for real, it´s an abomination! - for me, at least -.

Oh, I didn't put "paw" in quotes to correct you. I was using quotes ironically.... As in: "what's
supposed to be a paw".
And yeah, that guitar's all too real. It's one of PRS's latest "Private Stock" Models. I should have posted the link to this to begin with:
https://www.guitarplayer.com/news/prs-u ... ock-guitar
It's called the "Snarling Tiger".
