A Guitar And Gear Support Forum

I have four SX guitars, and every time I pick one up to play, I am blown away by the quality to dollar ratio.
I bought my SX Liquid brand new from Rondo for $139.
I bought my SX EG7 hollow body for $199.

I bought a used SX Vintage Series Strat for $175.
And I got a used SX Standard Series Strat for $50 from Goodwill.

I put all of them at the lever of Squier Classic Vibes...for a LOT less money.

I know there is/was a Spanish company called SX Guitars...but who was actually making these??

I can't find the Spanish company any more, but SX guitars are still being sold in Australia.

Now and then you'll still see a few them around here in Bangkok, but there are so many 'quality' 3rd tier brands these days, I think they have been overshadowed.

Just saw this in a pawn shop. I remember that color. Looks like upgraded pickups.

I don't know whether SX built guitars in more than one country. This SX Hawk says it was made in China. Edit: This Liquid does too.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they were all made in China.

I played my SX SJM-62 at a blues jam two weeks ago and it was the talk of the town that night.

Just thought I would pass this along as I somehow recently came across their link.
They actually have some SX in stock and some on order.
They have a storefront also to check out the business.

Not sure if they have a website i guess anymore but that factory in China was definitely the source

They haven't updated their website since Kurt last updated his camera...but that factory in China was definitely the one making them...at least as of 10-20 years ago when I last looked in to it. I assume they still do
