AL/AD compatible bridges

Hey all, I have a new guitar inbound and am considering a set of satin chrome/nickel hardware for it as opposed to the polished stuff that comes on it. The only thing I'm struggling with is that I don't really know guitar bridges, so I'm not sure what I need to look for. Would I be able to use something like the Gibson Nashville bridge if I swap the studs out or is the routing incorrect?

The only two sets I can find are these:

https://reverb.com/item/34564511-gibson ... ne-o-matic

and if I can save the $50, great. If not...oh well I guess lol

It would be more a EPI style than a gibson style. You need to measure the posts, and string spacing. If getting picky, measure radius too.

Gotoh TOMs fit perfectly. I put one on my AL3100, and one on my Spad. Pure drop in.

Sorry, should have added that you need to get the rights size. I believe there is a metric and non metric version. I believe you want the metric version.

1st one should do the trick

That Gibson, even with conversion posts for the metric studs won't work correctly. the holes aren't correct size in my experience.

The bridge looks like what came stock on the 2014 LPJs and SGJs. I'm not sure I've seen a set of posts to convert, but the closest thing might be the posts that come with those Wilkinson style roller bridges. I won't be back home for another week so I can't confirm. However, if they would work with the Gibson, It would save you about $30 since the Cheapo Wilky bridges can be had for about $13.

Anything metric should work. The only exception I've ever found that this was not true for was the early iteration of Harley Benton LPs (L-400/450+) that while the post spacing was basically metric, still was off enough to require a little persuasion with a small rubber headed mallet...

I'm a big fan of the Gotoh TOM bridges and the metric ones are a drop in. I think they are about the bast bang for the buck out there, great quality and none of the rattly wire keepers.
