Some of you may have seen my NGD a month or so ago of an LTD EC-1000 with a piezo bridge. I've created a setup where I'm able to send the the humbuckers out of one 1/4" jack and the piezo out of the other, each getting its own wireless transmitter. I then designed and 3D printed a rack mount for an extra Line6 Relay G50 receiver I had lying around, with it going into Input 2 (Right) on my Axe FX II XL+. I'm then able to process the electric sound and the acoustic sound in parallel and blend/switch between the two sounds using an expression pedal. It's been fun to play with!
Here's a short, 1 minute video with some sounds and an overview of how I am doing it. Sorry for the vertical format. I made it for TikTok, but uploaded it unlisted on YouTube for you guys.
Here's the link to the file for the Line6 Relay G50 mount if anyone wants to print it for their own use: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4728049

That's too cool! I've always wanted a guitar with a piezo, but have never bought one. Came close to pulling the trigger on a Carvin with a piezo back some years back. I know Alex Lifeson had a rig like that too with his custom Gibson, but I'm not sure how he got both signals back from his wireless rig, as I never spotted two wireless units, but definitely had both cables plugged in...

Maybe it was a stereo transmitter? I can also run with 1 jack and use the little toggle switch. I like having less thing to switch, especially with my hands.bleys21 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 20, 2021 10:36 pm That's too cool! I've always wanted a guitar with a piezo, but have never bought one. It sounds great, Steve!
I've always liked to produce acoustic sounds with the electric guitar - for using just one during playing -. Yours sounds very good after your adjustments.
How's the giggin' season doing so far?
Take care.

As a band, we decided to opt out of indoor gigs for the time being. We had 5 socially distanced gigs over the summer, which was enough to keep us sane to some degree. Hope all is as good as it can be with the climate down in Venezuela!

Oh man that is great!!! I've gotten several "good' acoustic sims on the Axe and Kemper but the piezo is the business. This is definitely worth exploring.
