Just decided I needed to try the one final new Agile I had interest in, (i.e. 6 strings w/ traditional body and headstock guitar design.)
Scrolling guitar center while putting my daughter to bed last night I found a gold top lefty not listed as a lefty below the best sale price at Rondo in recent years (a shock really with the way the used Agile gear has been marked up over new prices on the GC site most of the time.)
Should be here Wednesday.
I don't own a gold top anymore (not that Agile has ever made a very proper gold top). Hopefully it isn't overly green like some Agile GTs I have owned. Too bad Agile never figured out what SX did with their Gold Tops which were some of the best I've seen come out of Asia.
Should fit in nicely next to my early thick bodied Tribal Red and black binding AL3200, fingers crossed it is up to expectations set by my other Agiles.

I love my gold top AD-3200MCC. I can't imagine why someone sold one to GC, but people hit tough times and things happen. I think you're right about Agiles costing more used now. It's great to hear about finds in the wild these days. Looking forward to hearing it arrived safe and sound.

FWIW, my AD-3200MCC gold top does not have any green in it, nor do the AL-3xxx series ones that I have. The AL-2000 though is another story.

That is the one that most vividly stuck out, still annoyed that the picture fell off the wall and damaged the finish on the one I sold you.
I never got lucky enough to find a used GT AL3k, only got CSBF.
The Harm I sold Mickey was a very nice gold, hoping that it is similar.

FWIW, the AL-2000 and 3000 series were made in different factories. Besides the GT finishes, the distance between the pickups themselves and bridge are not the same either.

I got even luckier than i thought. It came with a nice brown with gold interior hard case from Rondo, looks like new basically. Pics when I get it home.
